Urban Spaces reimagines urban living in the heart of Bucharest — fostering a sense of community and communion, with gardens forming the core of this relationship. Richly layered planting schemes prioritize biodiversity, creating shared green spaces that nurture ecological resilience and human connection alike. The gardens act as living frameworks for social interaction, offering habitats for pollinators and wildlife while enhancing the well-being of residents. This integrated approach positions nature not as a backdrop, but as a vital, central participant in daily life. In every detail, it reflects our guiding principle: Nature. Crafted for you.
Urban Spaces Dogarilor
At Urban Spaces Dogarilor, we designed a refined and immersive landscape that harmoniously blends community engagement with natural elegance. The planting design centers around the majestic magnolia—a sculptural focal point from which the entire garden composition unfolds. Graceful birch trees, planted in collaboration with the residents add a sense of shared ownership and seasonal beauty. Sun-dappled retreats are formed by stately plane trees offering serene spaces for relaxation.
Lush layers of shrubs and climbing plants—including ivy and wisteria—create a living tapestry that welcomes urban wildlife while inviting exploration and wonder. This landscape is not only a sanctuary for biodiversity but also a continuous journey of discovery for the community and their guests.
Urban Spaces Mumuleanu
This garden invites its residents on a discovery journey, where meandering pathways and layered plantings reveal new perspectives and sensory experiences at every turn. The design honors the existing mature trees, integrating them as central features that provide shade, structure, and a sense of continuity. Through careful arboricultural practices, we ensure the health and longevity of these trees, as well as those in neighboring areas, recognizing their vital role in the urban ecosystem.
In the shaded courtyard, a curated selection of shade-tolerant plants thrives, creating a lush, tranquil environment that enhances residents' well-being. The thoughtful planting design not only supports biodiversity but also contributes to a microclimate that offers respite from the urban heat, demonstrating how crafted nature can transform and elevate everyday living spaces.
Urban Spaces Badea Cârțan
The atmosphere of a forest edge is recreated in the two inner courtyards of the Urban Spaces Badea Cârțan residential complex through a carefully layered planting palette. By echoing the textures, heights, and rhythms of a natural woodland threshold, the design fosters biodiversity and supports an urban ecosystem. Native and adaptive species attract pollinators, birds, and beneficial insects, while thoughtful arboriculture and reforestation practices contribute to healthier air, cooler microclimates, and increased ecological resilience.
More than aesthetic, this crafted greenery enhances residents’ well-being—offering shade, serenity, and daily interaction with nature. These green courtyards become restorative spaces, where a sense of discovery and connection is encouraged. Nature is not merely present; it is alive, thriving, and integral to the lived experience.
Urban Spaces Sfinții Voievozi
The shared courtyard at Urban Spaces Sfinții Voievozi is a vibrant tapestry where surfaces, textures, and shadows interplay to create a dynamic and inviting environment. A thoughtfully curated planting design incorporates native and adaptive species, fostering biodiversity and providing habitats for urban wildlife such as birds and pollinators. This green oasis not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also contributes to the ecological resilience of the neighborhood, promoting a harmonious coexistence between nature and urban life.
Beyond its ecological benefits, the courtyard serves as a communal space that nurtures well-being and social interaction among residents, neighbors, and visitors to the Lost & Found creative lab. The integration of arboricultural practices ensures the health and longevity of existing trees, offering shade and tranquility that improve the microclimate and provide a natural retreat from the urban hustle. This landscape design exemplifies how urban spaces can be transformed into thriving ecosystems that support both human and environmental health.
