Reinterpreted Japanese Garden
A REwildSCAPE interpretation of the Japanese garden, where the clean lines of custom-made pine wood furniture meet the elegant exuberance of free-growing vegetation.
The project aimed to radically transform the micro-habitat: turning a fully mineral, hard-to-use terrace into a cool, vibrant, and biodiverse outdoor space.
Plant species were carefully selected to thrive in a limited soil volume, bringing shade, texture, and seasonal dynamism to a challenging environment. The contrast between the disciplined design elements and the natural spontaneity of the planting palette creates a harmonious dialogue throughout the year.
Key plant: Parrotia persica.
